Mabini National High School

          Steven Silva, the Filipino-American kid went back to his place, Davao City last February 12, 2010. Steven Silva was a finalist of Star Struck Season 5. His journey here in Davao City is to campaign for more vote for the Ultimate Male Survivor. He went to GMA studio of UNA KA BAI, and proceeded to the three schools of Davao; Ateneo de Davao University, University of Immaculate Concepcion, and imagine one public school, our very own Mabini National High School as part of his list.

          The journey of Steven showed what his life, as a person went to Davao to take his OJT in Marco Polo Hotel. He didn’t imagine to be a part of Star   Struck Season 5.

          Last February 20, 2010, was the final judgment. Supporters, friends, and Family hoping that Steven could get it. As the time come, Steven Silva was declared as the Ultimate Male Survivor and Sarah Luhbati as the Ultimate Female Survivor.

          The young Half-American boy turned to be a man after he overcomes all the challenges. He is Proud to be a DAVAOEÑO.

          The Intramurals 2009 celebration was a great achievement  for seniors of  Mabini National High School wherein they won the Cheer Dance Competition held last September 11, 2009. They were declared Grand Slam Winner. The school was packed   with teachers, students, and even parents who joined and witnessed the said event. All the judges came from Catalunan Grande National High School. They unanimously declared the seniors as the    champion in the Cheer Dance competition.

           The proud dance instructor and also a senior student, Reanian Monsanto, couldn’t imagine that before he leave the high school life, he gave another achievement for the seniors, and also for the seniors curriculum head, Mrs. Jonas Piore who had given her expertise in concept creation and even to the extent of modifying some dance steps in order to deliver the best to the expectators.

           The other year levels did not go home empty handed. The first year garnered 3^rd place, 2^nd place for the second year and 1^st place for the Juniors. The students and teachers take a good and wonderful time when they where greatly overwhelmed with their experience.

           The MAPEH Department who arranged the different events was greatly empress for the fulfillment of the   intramurals 2009, also with the help of our enthusiastic and ever supportive Principal Mrs. Mary Jean A. Abadia.
